Osteopaths and Physiotherapists are considered essential workers. We are guided by the government and our professional bodies (General Osteopathic Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists respectively) and therefore have remained open during these restrictive times. Rest assured, we are taking all precautions to keep you and our staff safe (Full PPE, Temperature checks, Screening Questionnaires, Thorough disinfection).
The government is urging people to stay at home in order to protect themselves as well as others who may be at a high risk category. If you need to see which categories are at risk please read here.
There is however a fine line between staying at home to avoid coming in contact with people and suffering in silence. If you require medical assistance, please get in touch with us, your general practitioner or the hospital.
Alternative therapists such as Osteopaths and Physiotherapists are able to diagnose a wide array of medical presentations. We will be able to tell you whether your complaint is musculoskeletal and therefore if we are able to treat you.
This way you create space in the GP facilities which are overwhelmed under the current circumstances.
If you feel vulnerable and don't want to travel to see us, we can arrange a virtual consultation and best help you online. This way we can direct you with advice, exercises and workspace assessments, or if your concern is different refer you to the appropriate healthcare practitioner.
We are here for you
